The CARL-AVI-01 collection is directly inspired by the timepieces that marked mid-20th century aeronautics with their codes and performances. Everything is there: optimal readability day and night, sobriety and timelessness of design, functionality, advanced ergonomics… Our watches feature dials inspired by aircraft dashboards, oversized fluted crowns for easier handling with gloves and bracelets made from robust materials to withstand the most extreme conditions. In addition, these models are equipped with a fourth hand as well as a bidirectional rotating bezel which allows the time of a second time zone to be indicated over 24 hours. This GMT* function played a major role on transatlantic flights in the 1950s, so it was imperative that CARLINGUE offered it from its genesis. To further strengthen and assert the identity and DNA of these typical aviator watches, the CT-002-A model, produced in only 100 pieces for the launch of the brand, was developed. Its middle, as well as the strap buckle of this model, are adorned with a black PVD coating. In addition to its very aesthetic appearance, this treatment also makes the watch more resistant to knocks and scratches. ** * means Greenwich Mean Time and designates the mean solar time from the Greenwich meridian. ** in normal use of the watch (see warranty)

The CARL-DIV-01 collection draws its identity from the 1950s and 1960s with the arrival of the so-called Skin Diver watches. Symbol of the exploration of the seabed, these watches with a very strong identity, with a water resistance of between 100 and 300 M, were thinner and more ergonomic than other professional diving watches. Equipped with a glassbox-type sapphire crystal, a screw-down case back and crown, our divers have all the essential attributes for exploring the deep sea. All our models from the CARL-DIV-01 collection are equipped with Tropic type bracelets. These are the ones that fitted the most legendary and iconic diving watches of the sixties. For the special launch edition of the brand, the CT-001-A model, produced in just 100 pieces, is adorned with a bronze caseband*, a matching dial and hands, further asserting the personality adventurous and unique of our diver. * bronze, unlike 316L steel (which is stainless and hypoallergenic), oxidizes slightly over time, thus giving your watch a magnificent patina, making it unique. The watch can be restored to its original color and shine at any time by applying lemon juice (citric acid) for a few minutes and rinsing it with clean water.

As field watches, historically these pieces had to meet precise and rigorous specifications based on high criteria, notably robustness and readability. Concerning the latter, the military had to be able to read the time or measure times in all situations, even those where darkness was lacking, and as quickly as possible. Also, regarding robustness, the proper functioning of these watches had to be completely ensured, regardless of the conditions of use, even the most dangerous. It is within this framework of great precision that the CARL-MIL-01 collection was created. With its typical aesthetic of iconic military pieces from the 40s/50s mixed with an ultra modern design, as well as diabolical precision, these models are the perfect companions for today’s strong and intrepid personalities. As part of the launch of the CARLINGUE brand, the CT-003-A model, produced in only 100 pieces, was produced. Resolutely vintage, this model features a silver gray dial, hands in blued and red lacquered steel and painted indexes with a design typical of watchmaking production of the period. A magnificent “gun metal” gray PVD coating enhances the middle and buckle, accentuating the badass and exclusive character of the piece.
