The CARL-AVI-01 collection is directly inspired by the timepieces that marked mid-20th century aeronautics with their codes and performances. Everything is there: optimal readability day and night, sobriety and timelessness of design, functionality, advanced ergonomics… Our watches feature dials inspired by aircraft dashboards, oversized fluted crowns for easier handling with gloves and bracelets made from robust materials to withstand the most extreme conditions. In addition, these models are equipped with a fourth hand as well as a bidirectional rotating bezel which allows the time of a second time zone to be indicated over 24 hours. This GMT* function played a major role on transatlantic flights in the 1950s, so it was imperative that CARLINGUE offered it from its genesis. To further strengthen and assert the identity and DNA of these typical aviator watches, the CT-002-A model, produced in only 100 pieces for the launch of the brand, was developed. Its middle, as well as the strap buckle of this model, are adorned with a black PVD coating.
